+# 1. Meta Developer Account Setup

+Before starting development for Meta Quest using Unity, you must create a **Meta Developer Account**. This account is required to enable Developer Mode on your headset and access Meta's XR SDKs and tools.
+
+## 🔸 Why a Developer Account is Necessary
+Meta requires developers to associate their account with a **Developer Organization**, even for solo projects. Without this step, you cannot enable Developer Mode on your Meta Quest headset.
+
+## 🔸 Steps to Set Up a Developer Account
+
+1. **Go to the Developer Portal**:
+   👉 [https://developer.oculus.com/manage/organizations/](https://developer.oculus.com/manage/organizations/)
+
+2. **Login with your Meta Account**:
+   - You can use your **Facebook** or **Meta/Oculus** login credentials.
+
+3. **Create an Organization**:
+   - Click on **"Create Organization"**
+   - Enter a name (e.g., `MetaXRDevOrg2025`)
+   - Agree to the **Developer Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)**
+
+4. **Verify Email (if prompted)**:
+   - Ensure you verify your email linked to your Meta account.
+
+5. **You’re Done!**  
+   You are now part of a Meta Developer Organization, which will allow your headset to enable Developer Mode via the mobile app.
+
+> ✅ This is a one-time setup. You can now proceed to enable Developer Mode on your headset.
